In its 2025 guide, Chambers USA has identified Morrison Foerster’s Technology Group as a market leader. MoFo has once more been awarded Band 1 rankings in both the Nationwide: Technology and California: Technology categories.
We continue to be the “go to” practice for clients with strategic, complex, and novel technology-related matters and issues. - William Schwartz, who was the founding co-head of MoFo’s Intellectual Property Group and previous managing partner of the firm, is a Band 1 lawyer for Technology in California and also continues to be ranked nationally. Clients describe him as “an amazing issue-spotter, problem-solver and dot-connector.”
Matthew Karlyn, partner in MoFo’s Boston office, is ranked in Band 1 for Intellectual Property: Licensing in Massachusetts. Clients believe “his greatest strengths include his careful analyses of complex matters and his ability to bring in the right subject matter experts.”
- Anthony Ramirez, partner in MoFo’s New York office, is ranked for Technology in New York.
